Grace Episcopal Church is the second-oldest church in Martinez, California. This vibrant, inclusive, Christian congregation is part of The Episcopal Church, which follows the way of Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, each other, and the earth. Living out their mission to welcome, support, and serve all people, Grace is deeply committed to neighborly care and hospitality and active in local social and environmental justice. Their service to the community includes participation in a family shelter program, providing meals for people who are hungry, supporting innovative solutions to homelessness, and the Laundry Love program, which washes the clothes and bedding of low or no income families and person(s) in Martinez.

With support from RE-volv, Grace Episcopal Church’s transition to solar energy will strengthen their organizational commitment to be “caring and compassionate to all we encounter.” By saving thousands of dollars on energy bills, Grace will reinvest their savings to expand community outreach services
