Housing Unlimited provides affordable, independent housing for adults in mental health recovery in Montgomery County, Maryland. Currently, the organization owns 92 scattered-site homes in Montgomery County and provides permanent, shared housing to 253 very low income adults.  Members of their staff visit each home every week to check in with tenants, building a reliable and trusting relationship. With a secure home and desired supports, adults can focus on their independence and recovery.  

Housing Unlimited is excited to install solar at some of its townhomes, enabling the organization to redirect energy bill savings into expanding staff capacity and adding more homes to meet growing demand.
